On Wednesday, in the Champions League, RB Leipzig gained a spectacular victory over Celtic by 3-1 with André Silva’s double goals.
After this win against Celtic, Leipzig stands third in the group F with three points, while Celtic stands fourth with only one point. Celtic has played three matches, in which they won none, and they need to do something to qualify from Group F.
Christopher Nkunku scored the first goal for Leipzig in the 27th minute and led their team to 1-0 against the opponent.
Later, Celtic’s Jota scored the first goal in the 48th minute to lead them to 1-1 against Leipzig. After this goal, Celtic ran through a weak defense, and their midfield was also exposed, allowing Leipzig players to score goals and win.
The game was going by 1-1, but then André Silva scored two goals in a time of thirteen minutes and led their side to 3-1. André scored the first goal in the 64th minute and the second in the 77th minute, and these two goals led Celtic to defeat.
Later these two goals from André, Celtic could not able to score a goal, which led them to their second defeat and last stand in the group.
Ange Postecoglou, Celtic’s coach, said we got a bit negative in our mindset, invited pressure, we kept going back to Joe for no reason, and you can not play to survive at this level.
After the game, Joe Hart said I wasn’t quite sure whether to go to the center-half or Greg Taylor, so I decided to go for Greg and I missed.
