On Wednesday, at Golden State Warriors practice, Draymond Green made a physical altercation with his teammate Jordan Poole, in which Draymond reportedly punched Jordan. Golden State Warriors is now considering disciplinary action against Draymond after his physical altercation with Jordan.
As per report Athletic report, after the two came chest-to-chest during a heated exchange, Draymond forcefully struck Jordan. After their altercation, both Draymond and Jordan separated quickly.
ESPN confirmed the initial report citing multiple sources, in which it is said that Jordan was not hurt by the punch and completed his workout before leaving the practice floor. The Golden State Warriors stopped the practice after the skirmish.
The Golden State Warriors are preparing to defend their NBA title in the upcoming season, and that’s why the practice was held.
Draymond, who is a four-time All-Star and seven-time All-Defensive Team selection, is entering his 11th season in the league with the Warriors.
Jordan is entering his fourth season in the league, and previously in the 2019 draft, the Warriors selected him No 28 overall. Last season, Jordan broke out, and he could only able to average 18.5 points per game in 76 contests.
The Athletic report indicated that a line was crossed in the incident but the discipline appears to be easy for Draymond because he has earned a reputation as one of the NBA’s most exasperating players to go against.
