On Wednesday, in the Champions League’s group G, Borussia Dortmund beat their hosts Sevilla by a spectacular 4-1.
In Dortmund’s win against Sevilla, Raphaël Guerreiro scored the first in the 6th minute, Jude Bellingham scored second in the 41st minute, Karim Adeyemi scored third in the 43rd minute, and Julian Brandt scored fourth in the 75th minute. While on the other hand, Youssef En-Nesyri scored the goal for Sevilla in the 51st minute.
Dortmund played very well as they had already scored three goals and led by 3-0 in the first half. Julen Lopetegui, the manager of Sevilla, was later sacked, with reports in Spain saying the Argentinian Jorge Sampaoli could be his replacement.
After scoring a goal in this game, Jude Bellingham became the youngest captain to score in a Champions League match and the first teenage midfielder to score in three consecutive Champions League games.
In group G, Man City beat Copenhagen by 5-0, with goals from Erling Haaland in the 7th minute, Erling Haaland again in the 32nd minute, Davit Khocholava in the 39th, Riyad Mahrez in the 55th minute, and Julián Álvarez in the 76th minute.
Dortmund now stands at 2nd in the group table behind Man City, Sevilla is in third, and Copenhagen stands at last.
In group F, The defending champions, Real Madrid, beat Shakhtar Donetsk by 2-1 with goals from Rodrygo in the 13th minute and Vini Jr. in the 28th minute. Oleksandr Zubkov scored the goal for Shakhtar in the 39th minute, but they could not get the win.
Real Madrid stands as the leader in the group with nine points, Shakhtar Donetsk stands second, RB Leipzig stands 3rd, and Celtic stands fourth.
In group H, Paris Saint-Germain drew with Benfica 1-1, in which Lionel Messi scored the first goal for PSG in the 22nd minute, and Danilo Pereira scored the goal for Benfica in the 41st minute.
In group H, Juventus beat Maccabi Haifa by 3-1 with goals from Adrien Rabiot in the 35th minute, Dušan Vlahović in the 50th minute, and Adrien Rabiot in the 83rd minute. Dean David scored the goal for Haifa in the 75th minute.
In group H, PSG stands as the leader, Benfica stands second, Juventus stands third, and Maccabi Haifa stands fourth.
