Suba South MP John Mbadi has revealed the removal of Kipchumba Murkomen from the Senate majority. Mbadi says the Elgeyo Marakwet senator was publicly against President Uhuru’s agenda which didn’t stir right with his position as a majority leader whose role was to represent Jubilee Party and its agenda.
In a live interview on 31st May, Mbadi said Murkomen’s main role was to line the position and vision of Jubilee party which appointed him to the position he held. Mbadi despite Uhuru’s dedication in the fight against corruption, Murkomen was against Jubilee agenda and his removal was to happen.

The senator was removed from his position and replaced with KANU’s West Pokot Senator Samuel Poghisio while his Nakuru counterpart Susan Kihika was replaced with Senator Irungu Kang’ata as the Majority Whip.
Murkomen on other hand rubbishing his ejection and insisting he would continue performing his duties since the due process of the law had not been followed. Murkomen said he and Kihika were being targeted because of their political astronomy.
