FORD Kenya has withdrawn Bungoma Senator Moses Wetang’ula from the party’s leadership position. The party has appointed Kanduyi MP, Uncle Funnu as acting party leader.

His removal from the post was concluded on Sunday, 31st May, in a meeting of the party’s National Assembly. Wetang’ula is claimed for failing to be a model of peace, failing to lead the party to victory in the elections and avoiding the nomination of a candidate in the 2017 General Election.

Watengula is also blamed for his weak leadership in the party by the National Executive Council of the party and for not providing motivation, money censoring due to repeated mention in the KSh250M gold medal in Dubai last year.

Ford Kenya has been part of the NASA coalition alongside Raila Odinga’s  ODM, Musalia Mudavadi’s ANC and Kalonzo Musyoka’s Wiper party.
