Werner will face Borussia Dortmund this weekend before finishing the 2019/20 Bundesliga campaign and his time with Leipzig away to Augsburg before arrival at Stamford Bridge.
He leaves RB Leipzig after four successful years with the German club and he departs as the Bundesliga side’s all-time leading goal scorer.
In 157 games, Werner produced 93 goals and added 40 assists to hand him the No 1 ranking in the club’s history. He has 29 international caps and 11 goals for Germany and is widely considered among the most exciting young strikers on the continent.
