Tottenham are targeting Willian this summer reportedly offering the Brazilian star a £250k-per-week wages to leave Chelsea, reports claim.
The 31 year old contract at Chelsea is ending this summer and he turned down the two year contract offered to him at Stamford Bridge saying he want a three year deal.
Willian having worked with Jose Mourhino while at Chelsea, he could probably be reuniting with his former coach. From then the star has been a winning machine for the Blues , having netted only 4 goals in five games since the EPL resumed from the Covid-19 break.
On other hand, the Blues boss Frank Lampard has recently confirmed the value of Willian in Chelsea as a key player in the club citing they are confident in signing him a new contract at Stamford Bridge.
“I haven’t given up hope on it. The club is still in discussions with him. We want him to stay at the club,” Frank Lampard. Adding that “But I also appreciate the fact that this contract for Willian is a big deal for him because of his age and where he’s at. I’ve been there before myself and I respect that.”
