Jubilee Party is keen to straighten its wayward legislators, The controversial Nominated senator Milicent Omanga on Wednesday appeared before the disciplinary committee to respond to accusations of disloyalty and failure to attend a parliamentary group meeting.
She faced a rough time explaining herself and at some point deviated to Kiswahili to drive her point home where she repeatedly defended herself saying she was never invited to the Jubilee Parliamentary Group meeting for senators that ousted Kipchimba Murkomen and Susan Kihika.

Omanga also claimed she had subscribed her SIM card to postpay and that the services might have been terminated by the time the message was sent. She was accused of being disrespectful to the party’s leadership by daring the party with her famous slogan. “It was just a social media thing by perpetrators, you know, those people who are against the party,” she said as the committee chair let her down to explain further.
After the long day of pleading, she went on to social media sharing her farming skills . “After a long day; taking care of my veges (sic),” she tweeted.
