Award-winning journalist Asha Mwilu quits from her investigative job at Citizen TV. Mwilu who has been working with the station for years announced her departure on Friday, May 29 through a tweet.

Posting on her Twitter account, the investigative journalist said she was leaving the station to launch her own start-up. “Some personal news: I’m leaving @citizentvkenya to launch my start-up. I have worked under the guidance of the brilliant @jageyo @LinusKaikai @pamela_asigi and @JamilaMohamed,” she tweeted as many Kenyans congratulate her next move.
